Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch HDTV

Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch

If you’re looking for a great large television for the Super Bowl this year, look no further than the Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV. The television is said to have absolutely stunning clarity, detail, and color. With a weight of around 60 pounds, and a thin profile, this LCD television is large, but it can fit in quite a few places. You’d be surprised. You may want to invest in a mounting kit for it.

  • Dimensions: 52 x 1.2 x 31.4 inches
  • Weight: 66.1 pounds
  • Inputs: 4 HDMI, 1 component, 2 USB, 1 Ethernet, 1 PC, 1 optical digital audio output
  • Aspect Ratio: 16:9
  • Contrast Ratio: 5,000,000:1
  • Resolution: 1920 x 1080
  • Response Time: 2 ms
  • Signal Compatibility: 1080p

The number of inputs is said to be really good if you have a lot of home theater equipment or even want to hook up your computer to this Samsung LCD television. It even gives you the ability to plug a USB drive into the television and read what’s on it. That’s pretty amazing for a television if you ask me.

Something else that’s rather cool is the ability to hook this LCD television up to the Internet – no computer needed. Once you hook it up to your ethernet cable, you’re most likely going to see the television update it’s firmware and software, but this is a good thing.

Set-up is really easy and it works great out of the box, but there are plenty of options for fine tuning the television’s picture to your liking. If you like setting up your television to your viewing preference, you’re not going to have a problem with this Samsung LCD HDTV.

The remote control might have been a little better, but overall, this is a wonderful LCD television at a reasonable price when you consider the quality.
