Fractal Antenna From Wikipedia, the no cost encyclopedia “An example of a fractal antenna: a space-filling curve known as a Minkowski Island (ref 1).A fractal antenna is an antenna that employs a fractal, self-equivalent design to maximize the duration, or boost the perimeter (on inside of sections or the outer structure), of content that can get or transmit electromagnetic signals in a presented total surface area or volume. This sort of fractal antennas are also referred to as multilevel, and area filling curves, but the important element lies in their repetition of a motif above two or much more scale measurements,[one] or ‘iterations’. For this cause, fractal antennas are quite compact, are multiband or wideband, and have beneficial programs in cellular telephone and microwave communications. A great illustration of a fractal antenna as a spacefilling curve is in the form of a shrunken fractal helix [2] Right here, each line of copper is just tiny fraction of a wavelength. A fractal antenna’s response differs markedly from traditional antenna styles, in that it is able of running with excellent-to-outstanding overall performance at numerous diverse frequencies concurrently. Normally common antennas have to be “cut” for the frequency for which they are to be used—and therefore the regular antennas only work properly at that frequency. This makes the fractal antenna an excellent layout for wideband and multiband apps…. Question by Naked Crusader: What are the pros and cons of LCD vs Plasma vs Rear projection?
I also heard there is no noticable difference between 1080i vs 720p when your set less than 50″
Best answer:
Answer by Andy C Most people cannot tell the difference between 720p and 1080i. 720p is slightly higher resolution than 1080i, but most HD programming is 1080i, not 720p.
Rear projection really has two flaws; physical depth and the viewing angle. When you get to the side of a projection tv, the picture fades. LCDs and plasmas have nearly a 180 degree viewing angle. Projo’s have about 155 degrees. Not a huge difference, but important to some.
Projos are less expensive per size, but few are wall mountable.
LCDs are brighter, look great in HD, but look bad in SD, and have motion blur problems. Their contrast is also lower, unless you go high end, but then you get the same problem with reflection of ambient light as plasmas.
Plasmas typically have shinier screens, which reflect more ambient light, but in a dark atmosphere, have the best color depth and contrast.
